I am Aswathi and I am waiting for my Master's result. I did M.A. in History. I would like to go for PhD in Gandhian Studies in Central University of Gujarat. l want to know about the procedure regarding to apply PhD in this university. Please help me to know about this.

The Central University of Gujarat offers only Integrated Program M.Phil – PhD (Gandhian Thought and Peace Studies). Candidates with Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for Integrated Program M.Phil – PhD (Gandhian Thought and Peace Studies) at Central University of Gujarat. The admission to the integrated course will be done on the basis of written test and interview. The applications for the course will be available in the website of the Central University of Gujarat. i have completed my M.A. from Gandhian subject and had choose BUDDHIST, JAINA, GANDHIAN AND PEACE STUDIES for jrf .
i just want to know did this subject is better for PHD
