How much % marks is required in the academics for applying in phd at IIST? Someone do tell me Qualification for joining IIST?

IIST offers both Full Time as well as Part Time PhD programmes.

Full Time Programme is open for all candidates whereas, Part Time programme is meant only Employees of Department of Space.

Qualification requirements are as follows:-

1) For Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/Technology
Only engineers with excellent academic records having a minimum of 9.0 CGPA out of 10.0 scale are eligible for it.

2) For Master degree holders in Engineering/Technology
M.Tech or M.E. degree holders should be first class first pass along with a valid good GATE score. Whereas, candidate who hold MS degree from foreign university also must have very good academic record.

3) For Masters degree in Science and Humanities (like- M.Sc, M.A. etc.)
Candidate must have first class passed degree along with valid UGC/CSIR NET/JRF or NET-Lecturership or GATE score.
