Re: Steps to do PhD in Atomic and Laser Physics? Duration to complete PhD in India?
Sorry to inform you that you are not eligible to do PhD as for now because you haven't completed master's degree yet.
Candidates willing to PhD in Atomic and Laser Physics, must have to complete masters degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized university. Eligible candidates then have to appear in UGC-NET/CSIR exam qualifying in which they can take admission into PhD course in the relevant field. So in order to become eligible for PhD, you need to complete you master's degree in the relevant discipline with atleast 55% marks. PhD course usually take a minimum duration of 3 years after master's degree in India. |
