Hi,

I am 35 year old and right now working in software industry. I would like to do M.Tech and join as lecturer. If I start now, by the time I complete my M.Tech I will be 37-38 year old. I want to know whether there is any age limit to join as a lecturer?

Age criteria for Engineering college Lecturer post:-

You can work as a associate professor in any Engineering College once you complete BTech degree in any stream.
To apply for NET competitive exam you should not more than 28 years old ( OC category ).
For OBC and women candidates 5 years relaxation will be provided.
If you are belongs to SC/ST category then 7 years relaxation will be provided.
Master's degree is necessary for assistant professor.
