I have an interest to study PhD(Applied Chemistry) in Gautam Buddha University. Can anyone of you kindly tell me that is there any kind of entrance exam I have to appear for studying this course in this university? Kindly let me know asap.

Yes, Gautam Buddha University conducts an entrance exam namely, GPTR (General Proficiency Test for Research Programs) for admission in PhD programs. The exam will be duration of 2 hours and carry 100 marks. The pattern for GPTR is as follows:

Research Methodology and General Awareness - 15 Marks

English Proficiency - 15 Marks

Subject Awareness - 70 Marks

Shortlisted candidates through entrance test will have to appear in the interview.
