Re: What is the difference between Ph.D science and Ph.D engineering?
It just depends on the kind of topic you choose. In science, you can choose any topic related to your field of science and it can anything related to science.
If you are doing research in engineering, then you must choose a topic related to engineering field according to your field of study. There is science involved in engineering too, but it is a specialised field of study. Both are related to each other, but engineering has more scope than a simple science Ph.D qualification. |

It all depends upon you that in which of the two Ph.D courses you are interested to opt for.
If you belong from a Science Graduate background, then you must have to do Ph.D in the respective Science stream or else if you have completed B.Tech/B.E, then you have to pursue Ph.D in the field of Engineering. Each of the field have different study level in the Ph.D course. |
