What is the procedure followed to apply for Ph.D in Nutrition in AIIMS?


Dear Sir/Mam

I have done B.Sc(H.Sc) and Dietitics from IHE, Delhi University and also M.Sc in Nutrition from IGNOU. i have an experience of 17 years and still working as Dietician in Govt. setup. I wish to know the procedure to register in AIIMS for PhD in Nutrition.

To register yourself for doing Ph.D in Nutrition from AIIMS after the completion of M.Sc in Nutrition, you must appear in the UGC NET examination, once you qualify in the NET examination then you can take admission in AIIMS for studying Ph.D in Nutrition.
The eligibility criteria required to appear in the UGC NET examination is that a candidate must have completed Master's Degree course from a recognised University with 55% of marks.
So, you are eligible for the NET examination.
