What is the procedure to get admission in govt. college for Ph.D course in home science?
With Respect Sir, I want to know about the semesters of Ph.D course in home science and what is the procedure to get the admissions in govt. college. Please tell me.

For admission in government college for Ph.D, you need to appear for entrance exam and interview conducted by the concerned university. Just make sure that you have got at least 55% marks in your home science post graduation degree.
If you have qualified exams like NET/SET/JRF, then you will be exempted from university entrance exam and only interview stage will be there for you. |

To do Ph.D in Home Science, you must have to gain a Masters degree in Home Science from a recognised University. After that you must qualify in the UGC NET examination.
The eligibility criteria required to appear in the UGC NET examination is that a candidate must have completed Master's Degree course from a recognised University with 55% of marks. After qualifying in the NET examination, you can take admission to study Ph.D in the relevant field in a Government College. |
