what is syllabus and exam patter for taking admission in PHD (doctor of philosophy) in NII? as i have have completed my post graduation so i want to take admission in NII.....So kindly provide me the syllabus and pattern for the exam.

What is the syllabus for admission to Ph.D. in NII?

There is no fixed syllabus for the entrance exam. The entrance exam is a mix of questions from all major science fields- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. At times even Computer and mathematics might have a tiny space in the question paper. However, the questions are all very conceptual and are meant to judge your basic understanding of science rather than your mugging or cramming abilities.

The syllabus is not fixed it keeps on varying .
The entrance exam is a mix of all fields .

The exam is only meant to judge the knowledge of a candidate.
There may be conceptual questions .
Try to attempt more questions as the cutoff is quite high.
For getting admission in the college, one needs to have good academic background without any backlogs.

There is no particular syllabus for PHD entrance examination and published by National Institute of immunology
