When will the Ph.D entrance exam be held in the present year? Can someone please give me the complete information on this soon to me? It would be really helpful if you can help me with the answer as I am not sure what need to be done!

Those candidates who have completed BS-4 years program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc. or Equivalent degree with at least 55% marks are eligible for CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

Important dates for CSIR UGC NET Dec 2015 (Tentative)

Online application will be commenced from -3rd August 2015
Last date of close of deposit fees -03.09. 2015
Online application will close on -04.09.2015
Exam date (CSIR UGC NET Dec 2015) -20th December 2015

The NET Examination for this year has already been taken. The NET Examination for next year will be notified during the month of January and it is most likely to take place in the month of May.
So you have ample time and you need to prepare for the Entrance Examination.
