Sir, I want to do PhD in Physics (Solar Energy System area). I have one year experience in a project with Solar Cell application. So, please tell me where to apply for it? Should I go abroad for it?

Candidates those who have completed masters in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized university are eligible to do PhD course in the relevant discipline.
So, in order to eligible for the PhD in Physics (Solar Energy System) course, you must have completed masters in the relevant discipline with atleast 55% marks from any recognized university.

I don't find any good to do PhD from abroad as because in India, there are very good universities which deliver good quality of education (research course) at very reasonable cost. However if you really want to do PhD from abroad then you have to appear and qualify in GRE and IELTS/TOEFL entrance exam so as to get admission into foreign universities.
