India is still developing and so we can only imagine when our country will be a developed country

Can India ever become a developed country?

It is not that India cannot become a developed nation. We are developing. But some major problems are: Poverty, Increasing Population, Bad Mentality of People, and Corrupt Government.
Barack Obama said that India is not developing; it is developed. But, if it is really developed then why is it that during the Commonwealth games, the huts of the poor in Delhi were abolished? If India is developed why is there so much poverty and dirt that India feels ashamed of that it has to destroy it?
Population is increasing. There is not enough food and shelter for the people of India. People are dying. Why is the government not able to manage it? Is it helpless?
The government too shows signs of corruption. 2G Sprectum, Adarsh Society and many other scams have come into being.
Till now, I had been talking about the government, but we, the people are also responsible for it. People are not well-mannered or civilized. They are greedy and selfish.They do not follow their duties.
When all these things are taken under consideration, according to me, it proves that everyone is responsible for the condition of India. It is not very easy to change it, but obviously not impossible. If everyone gets a feeling of patriotism in himself/herself, then India would become a strong, prosperous and developed nation.Also, if we follow the steps told by great people, our dreams regarding India will be fulfilled. A current of revolution has started. Undoubtedly, it will take time but India will become a developed country, today or tomorrow.

yes, India can become a developed counter if our leaders work hard with honesty........

Yes of course India can become a developed country..basically a country is categorised as a developed country according to the per capita income and gross domestic production .i.e. GDP...witha GDP of around 11% per annum,,.India promises to be a developed country in the near future...

india will develop soon after the corrupt politicians, corrupt system is established in a correct way. There is no question that india won't progress it will but need some time.

Yes India will become a developed country if it overcome all the troubles and problems what it is facing now.

India being the second largest country in the world as per the population, it has not secured the same place in terms of economic development. The culprits for this is the government and the politicians. Every time they don't look for the development of the country by encouraging business people and by inviting more and more foreign direct investments. Instead they look for their positions as the politicians.

If the government does not encourage the politician in a better way, then how can india will develop economically.

We have been seeing from the last few months, food inflation has gone very high. It is becoming tough for a common man to satisfy all his needs. Apart from that in AP we have seen so many natural calamities in the recent times like Jaltuffan and lila tuffan. So, many people especially farmers,they have lost a lot. It is the responsibility of the government to help the people. But in reality, that's not at all happening.

As per Abdul Kalam 70% of the politics should be done for the people and the rest of the 30% is for the people. But in current scenario, it is being happening the reverse manner.

So, unless the politicians change their way, India will not develop economically.

No, because now also poor people ,begger, and un educated people also living . when people are educated without beggers without poor people when people fulllfill their needs . then only india became a developed country

yes of course India can become one day a developed country.

India is now in a developing country list. only a developing country is the one who comes in Developed country list.

i would like to tell you that India's Economic growth depends on per capita gross domestic product (GDP) .

the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in India expanded at an annual rate

In 2010 = 8.90 percent
In 2004 = 8.37 percent
In 2006 = 10.10 percent
and
In 2004 = 5.50 percent

on seeing Per capita income and growth of India ,

India will be a count in Developed countries.

Well of course one day or the other India will be a developed country.

I very well know that the present Government can't change things around.In this present Government we have seen many scams like Commonwealth Games,2G Spectrum and many other such scams taken place which are yet to be revealed.

As we are upcoming generation in India lets take an oath that we will stop corruption and we will not take part it.By this we can make our India a developed Nation.Lets be responsible towards the country and serve our nation.

It is not possible in a day,it is a long time process which is already started,we can get the result of devolopment after 10-15 years...

india is still developing country it is not developed sofar. goverment tried their best to make indian number one nation. we are also following manything of develop countries.

India will change, someday or the other. For that everyone's co-operation is needed. If we think India will not progress, then it would truly not. Have a positive attitude and see the result.

Yes,India vl b one of d developed countires in future .Government should first of all eradicate illiteracy so tht poverty vl vanish frm our country.Educating people vl help poor people in protecting dem frm getting exploited.Also Education System in India should improve.Education System in India is biased .Development Of India is a long process so we shld be patient & also Be Positive.At d same time we too shld try 2 contribute in sum way 2wards d development of country.........

Super power is one which can dominate on international market.A country as a super power slhd hv d capability 2 launch projects & ideas of its own interest at worldwide level & shld b able to convince other countries to help in fulfilling of d project.
The term super power came into picture during the time when cold war ws going on.

For a country to bcum a superpower it shld hv national integrity,shld hv well developed scientific & technological powers.Also it shld hv nuclear weapons for defense against other super power country.

India is facing more challenges then advantages .

Yes India will become. If we overcome the poverty, population and the utmost problem corruption we will definitely counted in developed countries. Our growth rate suggests that we will be a developed state by 2020.

The way India progresses now a days will no doubt makes it a developed one.Today our India is increasing Exports Which makes it financially strong.All the monetary & fiscal policies are well updated and our agricultural sector is fast growing.It is to be assumed that in the coming centuries India titles "Developed" & We feel proud on that day.

I am sorry for those who have voted that Indian won't be a Developed country. We Indians should not put questions on our own, first ask your self that what you are contibuting towards your country and if you got satisfaction from yourself than only you have right to say like that.

It is corruption that is the biggest bane that India faces today. While the media paints a rosy picture of India as a Rising Asian Giant, the fact remains that in esoteric circles India is and will always remain to be a "third world country".

The crippling bureaucracy and laggard political system mitigates whatever growth we have achieved in the past decade which has remained constricted mostly to the I.T and BPO sectors while the political underclass remains poignantly unaffected by this growth. The divide has only grown larger with an astounding 40% of the Indian population that still remains below poverty line. All the more shocking is the callous attitude of the powerful middleclass who can actually shape the future.

It is not that India does not have the means to ward off poverty altogether for it does. However our erstwhile great leaders must ensure that the poor remain poor for otherwise it would dilute their votebanks and the fund are used insidiously in endeavors that serve little purpose or in the unfathomable depths of the pockets of our politicians.

The democratic system of India is intrinsically flawed for the term "India" is merely a myth and its venerable citizens still remain on many levels still remain clamped on to the hoary and ancient ideas of caste, religion and state. India is the worlds biggest spectacle and a cacophony of bizarre contradictions. It is like a macabre circus of disjointed ideas that serve as a stark reminder of a once great past as we interminably move towards a gloomy dystopian future.

In the book "Vision 2020" by former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, he mentioned that India will be super power by the year 2020. It will be if and only if we follow what he want us to do. This dreams can make into reality.
We should end the Brain drain in India and should serve our motherland whole heartedly.

1. improve governance
2. raise educational achievement
3. increase quality and quantity of universities
4. control inflation
5. introduce a credible fiscal policy
6. liberalize financial markets
7. increase trade with neighbours
8. increase agricultural productivity
9. improve infrastructure and
10. improve environmental quality

india is in a developing stage still after it got its independence. this was due to ruling of politicians is what i felt. there were many uneducated, no facilities in some areas and some worst situation about AP.

3)speculation business of basic items like food, Dal, rice wheat oil.
4)Psudo secularism
5)blindly following western culture.
6) Indian hinglish media who just follow western rulesand already lost Indian touch. they were suit, tie and pent feel shame and feel low in Indian dresses. busting every dirty harmful, nude and western thought by discussing in forum. and our politicians are influenced by those 5%.
7)lose of value in our harritage, tradition , morality, athics, out dress code, our language. we want everything English.
8)terrorism
9)Lack of intigrity factor. we will movement for free dom from india in north east state and other state in 10 yrs.
10)privillages to political people. they act like they are king, they are nepolion, they are only in india whos abcent will distroy entire country.they live like owner of our country, their life is IMP so black cat camandos protect them and common man life has no value...

The first step towards development is a committment to education and scientific research. Without that I'd risk saying that talk of India being developed is just a wet dream.
