Hi friends, I want to apply for the UGC NET. I have scored 54.75% marks in my MCom. So, am I eligible to apply for the UGC NET? I am unable to get the information. So, I need to know about this. Please let me know asap.

Yes you are eligible
Because for UGC net you need 50+ percentage.
But read carefully it is good for you to choose the subject which you have in post-graduation,also you can apply for another subject but it may be difficult
So go for your basic subject having good base and get jrf certificate

As per UGC guidelines Eligibility to appear UGC NET....
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks without rounding off in Master Degree or equivalent Examination from any University or Institute recognised by U.G.C.(In case of OBC,SC,ST or Persons with Disabilities Minimum Marks 50% without rounding off in Master Degree)
So if you belongs to any of the above special category you will be eligible to apply for UGC NET, otherwise being a general category candidate you are not eligible,because you have not secured 55% without rounding off in M.Com.
