A B.Com graduate can do Master of Architecture course?


Sir I am student B.com plan and I want to do courses Master of Architecture (M.Arch). It is possible ?

No, it is not possible to do Master of Architecture course after completion of B.Com course. To be eligible to pursue the M.Arch course, you must have completed B.Arch from any recognised university. And the final year candidates are also eligible to apply for admission in the M.Arch course. To get admission in the M.Arch course, you must qualify in the entrance exam. Some of the Architecture entrance exams are :-
1.NATA Aptitude Test
2.JNTU PACET
3.School of Planning and Architecture Entrance Examination

Since, you have qualified the B.Com course, you are not eligible to pursue the M.Arch course. But, you can continue your higher studies by pursuing the M.Com course or any higher master degree commerce related courses.

No B.com students are not eligible for the Master of Architecture course. Only those candidates who have completed a bachelor degree in Architecture specialization are eligible to apply for this course.

Master of Architecture is a professional course. The duration of the course is three years which are divided into four six semesters.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Those who are interested to apply for M.Tech in Architecture course, should have B.Tech degree in Architecture or any subjects related to it. The concerned engineering degree should be completed with a minimum 50% aggregate. SC/ST candidates should have to complete their degree with a minimum 45% aggregate.

Career options after B.Com:-

Master of Commerce (M.Com)
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Master of Arts (MA)

Professional Course:-
  • Chartered Accountant of India
  • Company Secretary
  • Cost and Work Accountant of India.

No, you are not eligible. if you want to do architecture course either you can do diploma or Bachelor course.The minimum eligibility for pursuing this course is a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minimum aggregate score of 50%, completed from a recognized institution.
