You are studying in M.Sc in Mathematics so you are not eligible for UGC NET exam but you can apply for CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

Yes of course. You are eligible to apply for NET examination. NET i.e National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission twice in a year for admission to JRF and Lectureship. June exam notification has been already released. Last date for receipt of application has been already closed. Next notification will be published in the month of October or November in the official website of UGCNET.

Eligibility:

You should have completed master degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. You must have secured at least 55% marks for general candidates and 50% for reserved categories. Those who are appearing in the final year of master degree course may also apply. So, after completing master degree course, you are definitely eligible to apply for NET examination.
