I am doing sociology (H) final year from d.u. I want to take admission in B.Ed course now. I want to know if i can do b.ed course from d.u itself with graduation degree in sociology?

You are doing B.A in Sociology so you are eligible for B.Ed course.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree with above 50% marks are eligible for B.Ed course.

Your age should be above 18 years.

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. The eligibility criteria for this teaching training degree course is:

* Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates of any bachelor's degree can also apply for examination of this course.

* The minimum percentage required in bachelor's degree to be eligible for B.Ed course is 50%.

You will be eligible to do Bachelor of Education from Delhi University if you have 50% or more marks in bachelor's degree in Sociology.

Sorry you cannot do B.Ed in Sociology in Delhi University with graduation. Candidates opting for (B.Ed) Sociology, Psychology or Commerce as teaching subjects should have essentially done post graduation in the respective subject. There will be an entrance examination for the admission. The aspirant can check the details in the attachment given below:
