Re: Eligibility for UGC JRF after completing post graduation in Economics?
UGC JRF stands for University Grants Commission Junior Research Fellowship. For Junior Research Fellowship, UGC conducts National Eligibility Test in June and December.
To appear for this exam, a candidate must have at least 55% marks in master's degree. 5% relaxation in marks given to reserved category. The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship. So, if you satisfy both criteria, you can apply for coming UGC NET exam in June, 2016. |

Re: Eligibility for UGC JRF after completing post graduation in Economics?
For UGC NET JRF you need to have at least 55% marks in your post graduation degree and also age should be below 28 years if you are a general category candidate.
In case of reserved category there is age relaxation available. Hence, you can apply for economics as a subject if you fulfill the criteria mentioned above. |
