The M.Sc. (Genetics) course provides a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of important areas of Genetics and its applications. The duration of M.Sc. (Genetics) course is two years or four semesters. The total course credits counts for 90 points.

The M.Sc. (Genetics) course duration is 2 years. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree in Science (Biological Sciences) from a recognised university are eligible to study M.Sc. (Genetics) course. There are 18 theoretical papers for 1800 marks with 54 credits and practicals/ project papers for 1800 marks with 36 credits.
