Am I eligible to pursue Part time MTech in Chemical Engineering from Anna University being a candidate having completed M.Sc in Chemistry and working in private sector for 7 years? Procedure to apply for this course

Eligibility:-

1- Candidate must have a recognised Bachelor’s degree B.E. / B. Tech. with minimum 50% marks (45 % in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

2- Candidate must have appeared for TANCET exam conducted by Anna University.

3- GATE qualified candidates in Engineering / Technology are exempted from TANCET exam though candidates who have a valid GATE score in Engineering Science (XE) and Life Science (XL) papers should appear for TANCET also.

Eligibility for Part time MTech in Chemical Engineering from Anna University is given below.

Candidate must have completed BTech in Chemical Engineering or relevant subjects from recognized university with minimum aggregate of 6 CGPA.

It would be easier to get admission if you have valid GATE score of more than 40 marks.

Candidate can get admission through counseling of GATE examination.

Candidate can also get direct admission through college level counseling.

Eligibility for Part-time MTech in Chemical Engineering from Anna University:

1. You need to be a graduate with a minimum of 60% from any university.

2. Candidates who have completed a 5-year program in Science or Applied Sciences resulting in the award of a Master of Science degree are also eligible for Master of Engineering course.

3. Admission is direct merit-based or entrance-based.

Eligibility for Part time MTech in Chemical Engineering from Anna University:-

Candidate belonging to reserved category must have 45% in qualifying examination. Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field.
