Entrance exam for masters in Architecture after Civil engineering?


What are the entrance examinations available to pursue masters in architecture? Being a civil engineering graduate, am i eligible for this degree?

There are several entrance examinations available to pursue Master's in Architecture course. Various colleges conduct their own entrance examinations and some require score of national level entrance examinations.

Such examinations are GATE Exam, PGCET Karnataka, CEED, OJEE, CUCET, TANCET, Telangana State PGECET..etc.,

>> Admission will be done through based on the score of Entrance Examination or Merit at Graduation level.

>> You must have scored minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination in order to be eligible.

Entrance exam for masters in Architecture after Civil Engineering.

GATE, OJEE, CEED, TS PGECET, TANCET, CUCET, Karnataka PGCET.

Most of the university only BArch students to pursue MArch course.

Only some universities allows Civil Engineering applicants to pursue MArch.

There are many colleges as well who give admission on merit.

The entrance examinations available for Master's in Architecture are given below.

GATE (The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination)
CEED (The Common Entrance Examination for Design)
TS PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test)
TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test)
CUCET (The Central Universities Common Entrance Test)
Karnataka PGCET
MAH M.Arch CET

The eligibility to apply for MArch is a candidate must have passed BArch with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection will be on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test which is conducted by the university. There is no age limit to apply for this course and scores may vary from university to university.
