hello my question is ,is there any future after doing post graduation in biotechnology ? I have done my graduation and post graduation both in biotechnology and stood topper in both, but the problem is biotech students are not eligible for applying in any kind of lectureship whereas plain botany post graduate students can apply for the same post , which will embarrass us a lot . why biotechnology is not introduce in 2 level? so that many biotech students will be engaged as a junior lecturer.

Biotechnology is available and has already been introduced in the 10+2 level which is prevalent from many years. All the schools do not offer this course due to lack of infrastructure or teaching staff as well as lack of students in the 10+2 level.

After completing post graduation in Biotechnology,you have options like higher studies or job opportunities in Government as well as in Private Sector.Higher studies will help you in getting better jobs.You can pursue higher studies like phD in this field and perform various research works.This branch includes dealing with the usage of living organisms and bio processes in the field of Engineering ,Technology and Medicine,So you can apply for various jobs in Pharmaceutical Industries.

-Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology ( CCBM )
-National Brain Research Center
-National Institute of Oceanography

For the posts in these institutes you have to write the entrance exam conducted by corresponding institutes,after completing the exam if you are selected you will be called for Interview and you can get job.
