AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted by Indian Air Force two times in a year for admission to Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch. The maximum time will be 15 days to 20 days to apply for AFCAT examination. The application forms will be received only through online mode. There are no offline mode of application forms.
The minimum educational qualification to apply for this examination is that the candidate should have completed degree or post-graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. The candidate age should be between 19 years to 25 years. The age limits are differ from branch to branch. |

AFCAT stands for the Airforce Common Admission Test. The entrance examination is conducted by the Indian Airforce twice every year. This test is conducted to recruit candidates in branches of Indian Airforce like:
1. Flying branch. 2. Technical Branch. 3. Ground Duty branch. The written test consists of two papers General ability test and Engineering knowledge test for engineers. Generally online applications are open for duration one month. For example for AFCAT II in 2015, the online applications were open from 27/06/2015 to 23/07/2015. Online applications are done at www.careerairforce.nic.in. |

There is no such fixed time periods mentioned between the commencement of application date and he last date itself, however, in general there is a gap of almost 1 month or few days less than a month between the two dates.
