I a student of economics who has just completed her masters in economics from Panjab University ( Chandigarh) is looking for a job but is not clear about the companies who hire people from economics background . So my question is please help me out as in where should i apply.

There are lots of job opportunities available for MA in Economics. So many reputed companies in India as well abroad recruit the candidates who have completed their M.A in Economics. The highest qualification will help the candidates to move further in the career field.

Being an M.A in Economics student research opportunities are available. Apart from this you can also try to get Lecturer job, once if you have qualified in UGC NET entrance exam.

You should try to clear exams like NET/SLET then you will be eligible for lecturer jobs in Government Universities. You can also apply for jobs in various private companies in India. You will get job interview calls on the basis of your skills.
