One can appear in TET without B.Ed degree?
I have completed BCA and I have qualify for TET exam 2017 with 88%. But I have no B.Ed degree. Am I eligible or not? Could you tell me the details please?

No, one cannot appear for TET examination without B.Ed degree.
So, you have to complete your B.Ed degree after completing your bachelor education in order to become a teacher. |

As per the rules, one must have completed graduation and B.Ed from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks in order to appear in TET examination.
Without B.Ed one cannot apply for teaching. B.Ed is mandatory. |

You are not give TET examination without B.Ed. Criteria given below.
Criteria for TET entrance exam Eligibility Criteria:- B.Ed course complete with 60% marks in recognised University. Age limit:- There maximum age is 38 years and 5 years relaxed for SC / ST category. |

You cannot write TET without a B.Ed degree.
A graduate of post graduation with a B.Ed degree can apply for the same. Along with this, B.Ed course should be passed with at least 50% marks. 50% marks is the qualifying marks so as to apply for teaching posts in different schools. Age limit:- The maximum age is 38 years and 5 years relaxed for SC / ST category. |

According to my knowledge you must be a holder of B.Ed degree to be eligible for TET.
Eligibility to apply for TET exam is as follows:- Candidate must be a holder of graduation degree from a recognized university in any stream. Candidate must have scored at least 50 percent in graduation. Candidate must be a holder of B.Ed degree with at least 55 percent marks. Upper age limit is not required. |

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for TET examination as you have not done B.Ed course.
Candidates those who have completed their Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized University scoring a minimum of 50% of marks in it with completed or appearing in the B.Ed course are only eligible for TET examination. |

With regret I have to inform you that from 2017, it is mandatory for a candidate to have B.Ed qualification in order to be eligible for TET examination.
Candidates who have completed bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university are eligible to do B.Ed course in the relevant discipline. Since, you don't have B.Ed degree so you are not eligible for TET examination. |
