He is the first man who gave a well defined shape to economics. Economics is generally classified in to two major cateogaries Microeconomics Macroeconomics |

Adam Smith is considered the father of modern economics. Adam Smith was an 18th-century Scottish philosopher. His most famous book is "The Wealth of Nations" (1776).
