Whether should I study M.Phil to get into Lectureship job if I have been doin Sales job for decades?

I have completed my M.A. History in 1988 with 56.1% and taken sales profession job now I want to come back for lectureship job after 25 years of gap. Now I do not have teaching experience at present. Please guide me whether I should study M.Phil to come back to lectureship job or Is there any chance to become a lecturer now. Please guide me
