Why to go in software field being a mechanical engineer? Lots of i.t companies such as infosys, l&t infotech, tcs are hiring mechanical engineers.
what work they do there? What are the advantages and disadvantages of thi?

Some of the work that mechanical engineers do in the software field:
  • Software development. Mechanical engineers with software skills can work as software developers. Software developers are responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications.
