Annamalai University situated in the State of Tamil Nadu, India is a well known and renowned University in the region. It offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma courses in various subjects which comprise of more than 50 departments. Established in the year 1929, the university is one of the very old universities of India. There is a paper on Indian Social Institutions in the course of B.A. Sociology in the 3rd year of the course. The examination pattern comprises of a three hours duration paper, with total marks that can be scored to be 100 marks. The total questions in the paper is 10, with 20 marks each, one needs to answer any 5 questions out of them to make it to 100 marks.
