There are a total of ten questions in the question paper and the full marks are 100. The candidates are required to attempt only 8 questions out of 10. There are no sections or compulsory questions in the paper. The questions are chiefly theoretical but there are conceptual and mathematical problems too. The last question of the paper carries 16 marks; all the others carry 12 marks each. There are internal choices. Some of the important questions are how the principles of indemnity, subrogation and contribution applied in personal are applied in personal accident insurance, discuss the salient features of group personal accident insurance, describe the contents of mediclaim proposal form and also state the special features of declaration included therein, the extra benefits available under mediclaim policy without charging extra benefit, and specify the scope of cover under standard burglary and house braking insurance policy issued to business premises.
