The paper is descriptive. There are two sections A and B. All the questions in section A have to be answered as this is a compulsory section. There are three questions in this section. In section B, there are 6 questions. Out of the six, the candidates need to answer any 2. The duration of the paper is 2 hours and 15 minutes will be allotted for reading the paper. The paper is for a total of 60 marks. The pass mark is 35%. The questions include definitions and small numerical. The paper consists of both short and long answer type questions.
