Software Constructs and Tools forms an important part of Bachelors program in Information Technology from IGNOU. In this subject students get to know about various tools and constructs which are helpful for software designing. To become a good software developer one needs to know the usage of various tools of different languages in order to implement them correctly as and when required.

Topics taught in this paper:

The topics which are taught in this paper are different combination for different types works, java programs, spreadsheet, excel, nested class, case and default keywords, etc.

Division of paper:

The question paper is divided into two sections namely as Section A and Section B. each section of this paper is of 30 marks.

Time and marks allotted:

The total time limit allocated for solving this question paper is of two hours and the maximum marks that can be obtained in this paper are 60.

Paper Pattern:

The question paper comes in English language. The total no. of questions in this paper is 14. The question paper is divided into two sections as Section A and Section B. each section of the paper carries 30 marks. There are total 11 questions in the Section A of the paper. All the questions of this section are compulsory. The first 10 questions of this paper are objective type having 4 options of which only one is the correct one. There are total three questions in the Section B of the paper of which only two are to be answered correctly. Each question of this part is divided into two parts. The questions of this section are subjective type.
