Karnataka Public Service Commission-general Studies (Paper II) papers is a subjective paper. Questions asked in the paper are of descriptive type. Candidates appearing in the paper need to have a good knowledge on the ancient history and Indian politics. The question paper consist 3 sections and each section has 3, 4 and 10 questions respectively. Every question in the paper is to be answered within the word limit, for long answer type questions, it is 250 and for short type answers, it is 30 words. Maximum marks in the paper are 300 and time allotted for this is 3 hours. Section A consist 120 marks. Section B consist 150 marks and Section C consist 30 marks.
