The National Eligibility Test for French paper II is a paper-pen test of duration 1¼ hours. There are 50 multiple choice type questions in the paper. Each of the questions is of 2 marks, so the maximum marks carried by the test are 100. There is no negative marking in the test and all the questions are compulsory. So, it is advisable not to leave any answer not attempted. However, there should not be more than one answer to nay of the questions as this will be treated as a wrong answer and no marks will be awarded for this.
