It includes organization of forms and spaces, articulation and its role (edges, corners, surfaces), spatial relationships, spatial organization, principles of composition (harmony, dominance, unity, punctuating effect, contrast, climax, dramatic effect, accentuation, circulation, fluidity and types), determinants (climate comfort principles, socio cultural determinants, cultrure temporal and regional influences as determinant, beliefs, aspiration, past and modern era examples), works of contemporary architects (modern and post-modern architect works, ideologies, philosophies towards architecture, case studies). F.L.Wrignt, Louis Sullivan, Le Corbusier, Louis Kahn, Philip Johnson, Michael Graves, Charles Correa - Contribution towards the architecture should be reviewed.

Paper Pattern: Question paper will be divided into 2 parts A and B. Part A contains 8 questions which carry 4 marks each. All should be answered. Part B contains 8 questions, alternate choice is provided and four questions should be attempted. In this section each of the questions carry 12 marks.

Time allotted and Maximum Marks: 180 minutes is what you have to complete a paper of 80 marks.
