The paper is also important as it is a core paper and required in every field.

Paper Pattern:

The paper of Engineering Mathematics-II is a numerical paper and it contains questions of mathematical problems. 20 questions are asked in the paper. Questions are divided into 2 sections; section A is of 10 questions and Section B is of 10 questions. Section A is of short answer type and Section B is of long answer type. All questions in Section A are of 20 marks and questions are of equal marks whereas Section B is of 60 marks and each question in this section are of 6 marks each.

The paper contains mathematical problems and questions asked are such as from trigonometrical equations, indefinite integrals, definite integrals, equations on definite integrals, order of integration, Gauss’s theorem, radical formula, Gauss divergence theorem, Stokes theorem, order of integration, evaluation of integration, Green’s theorem in a plane, Beta & Gamma functions etc. Questions asked are to be solved step by step as numerical questions are there in the paper.

Total marks and time allotted:

A maximum of 80 marks can be allotted in the paper and 3 hours are given to the students to solve the paper. Each question in Section A is of 2 marks and Section B contains question of 6 marks each. Section A is of 20 marks and Section B is of 60 marks.
