The Anatomy paper is divided into two sections of which one is a long answer type section containing two essay questions of 20 marks each. The second section has ten short notes of 6 marks each. There is no choice and all questions are compulsory. There is also a short objective type section which has to be submitted earlier. The total marks of the paper is 100, 20 for the objective section and 80 for the descriptive. Some of the common essay type questions are description of the situation, relation, and nerve supply of glands such a parotid gland and Stomach and lymphatic drainage, Microstructure of Thyroid gland, description of applied anatomy, detailed account of the blood supply in the face and its surgical anatomy. Short notes topics are Lymphatic drainage of the stomach, Supra renal gland, urinary bladder, voluntary muscle, and histology of pancreas. The questions are direct and answers should be precise.
