The U P Board intermediate special English paper covers the entire syllabus of the subject very precisely. The paper is of 100 marks and the time allotted is 3 hours. The first part of the paper contains questions from prose and poetry here each question carries 4 marks. The next part is grammar part where there are do as directed questions which carries 5 marks each then there is reading comprehension of 8 marks, a summary writing of 8 marks , an essay of 10 marks and a letter writing of 5 marks.
