UPSC Mains literature Gujarati Paper I paper contains 8 questions in it and these questions are divided equally. Total questions needed to be attempted are 5. Each question carries equal marks. Question no. 1 & 5 are compulsory to be solved. Rest 3 questions are to be chosen from remaining 6 questions taking 1 question from each group. Paper is an optional one which is to be chosen from 18 languages which are included in 8th schedule of the constitution. Total marks allotted to the paper are 300 and time span of the paper is 3 hours only.
