Paper Pattern: Question paper is divided into 3 groups A, B, and C. Group A contains 10 objective type questions (multiple-choice) and no choice will be provided. Each question carries 1 mark. Group B (short answer type) and C (long answer type) contain 5 questions each; any 3 should be answered from each group. Each of them carry 5 marks and 15 marks respectively, and they are subjective type.

Key Points: Questions may be asked in the areas like generating the codes, token bus and ring working, differences between networks, transmission modes.
