Can i appear for JEE after 3 years lag between 10th and 12th exams?


I was not able to appear for 12th board exam due to some problem. I mean if i have a year lag of 3 years between 10th exam and 12 board exams, then will i be eligible to appear for JEE entrance or not?

Yes, you are eligible to appear for JEE examination. JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and conducted by CBSE and IIT every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed or pursuing 10+2 from recognised board.

Candidate must have PCM as main paper in 10+2.

So, you are eligible to appear for examination. The examination is conducted in two stages. For more information about examination visit at www.jeemain.nic.in.

Yes, you can appear for JEE after 3 years lag between 10th and 12th board exam.
Candidate who have passed class 12th and other Qualifying examination in 2014 and after are eligible for JEE Main 2016.
Candidate must have passed 12th class from any recognised university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.

Yes, surely you can appear if you fulfill the age criteria of JEE Main according to their notification. Normally, there is an upper age limit of 25 years for this exam.

If you pass class 12th now and have age on your side then surely you will be eligible for this exam. Just prepared for it.

JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. It is conducted by Central board of Secondary Education. It has two stages JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have done 10+2 or appearing for board exams with stream consisting of compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Minimum of 50% marks is required in 10+2 board exams.

The age limit is 17-25 years and upper age relaxed upto five years for reserved categories.

Yes, you can apply for JEE exam after appearing for 10+2 board exams but you must be within age limit. There are three consecutive attempts for JEE Main exam and two for JEE advanced exam.

Yes, you are eligible for JEE entrance exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks are eligible for JEE entrance exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination.
It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) for admission in IIT, NIT, State Govt colleges and some private colleges.
IIT(Indian Institute of Technology) and NIT(National Institute of Technology) are two best government college in India for B.Tech/B.E.

CBSE conducts JEE Mains for NIT and other colleges and JEE Advance for IIT in April and May respectively.

To appear in JEE 2016,students must have passed 12th board examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from a recognized board.
Students going to appear for 12th board examination in 2016 with PCM are also eligible to appear for JEE 2016.
Also, only those students whose date of birth lies on or after 01 October 1991 are eligible for JEE 2016 and generally the students appear in 12th board examination in 2014, 2015 or 2106 must have their DOB after 01 Oct 1991.
If your DOB lies on or after 01 Oct 1991 even with lag of 3 years between 10th and 12th, you will be eligible to appear for JEE 2016.
