My daughter's age 4 years 11 months. Her DOB 27/12/10. How can I get my daughter's admission in class 1 2017-18 session at any CBSE school Kolkata. Old kindly reply me at email address [email protected]

The minimum age required for the child to take admission in Class one in CBSE school is 5 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission. Since, your son was born on 27.12.2010, he is 6 years old, so, he is eligible to get admission in Class one at CBSE school.

No your daughter is not eligible for admission in 1st standard in CBSE board.

The minimum age criteria to take admission in 1st standard in any CBSE school is 5 years.

A child must have completed 5 years of age in order to seek admission in 1st standard of CBSE school.

As per my knowledge, the minimum age of candidate must be five years and 8 months as on 1st, June of the admission year in 1st stand.

Sorry to say as per your daughter age your daughter are not eligible to get admission in class 1.

Since your daughter's age is 4 years 11 months at this instant, you can get your ward admitted in 1st standard in any CBSE Board School in Kolkata.
Candidates age must be in between 4 to 6 years at the time of admission for 1st standard in any CBSE Board School.

Details of your daughter's age is not clear. If your daughter was born on 27 October, 2012 then right now her age is 4 years 2 months and if she was born on 27 December, 2010 then her age is 6 years. So I am telling you the age limit for admission in class 1 at CBSE schools :

Minimum age for admission in class 1 at CBSE schools is 5 years on 31st March, 2017.
Maximum age for admission in class 1 at CBSE schools is 7 years on 31st March, 2017.

So if your daughter fulfill the age criteria then she can get the admission. Thanks

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education and the same is one of the three Central Board of education which provided education upto higher secondary level in English medium with its school all around India and abroad too.

As far as you are concerned about the age limit for admission in CBSE schools, then as per the CBSE norms the students age must not be less that 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which you are pursuing your Class 10th.

So being born on 27/12/2010, your daughter is certainly is eligible for admission in Class 1 in the session 2017 - 2018 as your daughter's age will be over 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which she will be pursuing her Class 10th.
