Madhya Pradesh Pre Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga Test (MP PAHUNT) is conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh for admission of suitable candidates to Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani Colleges. Private Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and yoga colleges of Madhya Pradesh also offer admission on the basis of PAHUNT score. Domiciles of Madhya Pradesh are only considered for admission to Government Autonomous Colleges. The exam is conducted in objective model covering questions on Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

Eligibility for Madhya Pradesh PAHUNT

Candidates having completed HSC with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects are eligible. Qualification must be obtained from any of the recognized boards with a minimum of 50% marks. For reserved category candidates, a minimum of 40% marks is enough to apply.

Those candidates applying for admission in Government autonomous colleges must satisfy any of the following conditions.

  • Must be bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh
  • Son / daughter of any serving/retired employee of the Government of Madhya Pradesh
  • Son / daughter of any central government employee, posted in Madhya Pradesh
  • Son / daughter of a Military Personnel or migrant of Jammu and Kashmir
  • Son / daughter of any person settled permanently in Madhya Pradesh under the scheme of Central Government/State Government

Moreover, eligible candidate must have completed 17 years of age.

Exam Pattern for Madhya Pradesh PAHUNT

PAHUNT is conducted as a single paper test of 3 hour duration. There will be two sections for the entrance test comprising questions on Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. In first section, there will be 100 questions from Physics and Chemistry. Second section contains 25 questions each from the subject areas of Zoology and Botany. Each question carries one mark to make a total of 150 marks.

Based on the marks obtained in the entrance test a merit list will be prepared. Separate merit list will be prepared for government autonomous colleges and private colleges. If more than one candidate obtained same marks in the entrance test, then breakage of tie will be done on the basis of their marks in Zoology and Botany paper. Final selection of eligible candidate will be done after a counseling process.

Allocation of colleges is done through the counseling process. Each candidate can make their choice on college at the time of application submission.
