I dont know much about ncc. There is no ncc in my school. Can I join ncc this year? i am in 10th class this year and i am of 15.

No, you cannot join in NCC now. That's because you have take at least two year NCC training to get certificate. As a tenth class student, you have only one year to take NCC training. So, school NCC master will not allow you to join in NCC now. It will be better to join in some intermediate colleges, which are offering NCC courses. So, that you can complete your NCC training in that two years and you can get a NCC certificate.

First ,you have to decide ,which wing you want to join.
There are Army , Navy , Air force caded.

1. You have to search your nearest NCC unit placed in a college
or school.
2. You have to get the details from there about the NCC.

3. Mostly colleges are connected to NCC units,so go there and
conversation with Subedar/ Major or Jco / Nco of that
battallion.

4. They will get you all the procedures regarding joining of NCC.

5. Open cadeds will be sent to other college of same university which have NCC unit having drills and trainings in that battalion.

6. Also last but not the least ,every measure in the way of your medical with physicality responded during you joined .

You cant join Ncc in your 10th std .
Ncc section is divided into 2
No 1 is Junior division its from std 8 and 9
No 2 is senior division in this you can join from std 11 or else you can join later in your under graduation time

Yes, You can join NCC as an open cadet , if your college or institute does not have it .You can join it as army , navy and as an air force cadet. Google the nearest NCC unit to your place , or search which college have NCC and get the details from their seniors about the NCC unit.
