Hello sir, I am going to appear in 12th exam this month. I want know that can I registered for CA-CPT exam before passing 12th exam? How many months will I get for study CA-CPT exam after registration?

The registration for Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency Test can be done after tenth board examination but a candidate can appear for CA CPT examination only after board exams of 10+2.

ICAI conducts CPT examination twice every year in June and December. After 10+2 board exams, you can appear for June examination, so after 10+2 board exams, you will have 2-3 months left for CPT exam preparation.

Registration for CA CPT is available for 10th passed candidates but they can appear for it only after completion of class 12th. You can register for it now also if registration is open.
Exam is held mostly on June/December of the year. Hence, you can prepare according to your convenience after getting registered.
