Can National Institute of Open Schooling students apply for admission in IPU?

NIOS is a recognized board and in general there is no problem for students of NIOS Board to get admission in Colleges.
You need to have the required marks and once you have the required marks you will be eligible for admission in IPU.
So make sure you have the required marks as that is the only thing that matters as NIOS Board is accepted throughout the country.

Eligibility to apply for IPU :

Candidate must have passed 12th from any recognised board. NIOS board is recognised by HRD ministry of Indian Government.
Candidate must have secured more than 60% marks in 12th class.
Age of candidate must be above 17 years.

National institute of open schooling offers various general and academic courses at secondary and senior secondary level.

The candidate's who has passed from NIOS are eligible to apply in another recognized courses in any college/ university.

As these NIOS courses are valid and recognized and at par with other national and state education boards.
