My son born on 15th April 2016, is he eligible to get admission to LKG this year?

As per Kendra Vidyalaya (CBSE), For class one the kid should completed 5 years as on April 1st on that education year. LKG — kid should completed 3years as on April 2021 For LKG admission of year 2021–2022 educational year. In General, 3.6 to 4.6 years are eligible for LKG.

Eligibility criteria for LKG in CBSE schools.

1. For LKG - 4 years to 6 years.

2. Student should have passed nursery to get admission in LKG.

3. Admission is direct as well as admission test based in some schools.

The candidate should be four years old or above to get admission in LKG in CBSE Schools. The candidate should have passed nursery to get admission in LKG.
It is not mandatory to admit your child to LKG. You can teach him/her at home and seek admission to Class 1 directly.

Minimum age required for LKG in CBSE school is 3 year or 3 and half.

Eligibility criteria for LKG in CBSE schools:-

The correct age of the student should be between 3 years 6 months to 4 years 10 months to get admission for LKG in CBSE schools.

As per the rules framed by CBSE , the ideal age for admission to LKG should be 4 yrs .
The age mainly ranges between 3.6 yrs to 4.6 yrs .
If one admits their child at the age of 3.6 yrs in LKG then , there won't be any problem for your child to appear in 10th standard board exam.

The eligibility criteria for LKG in CBSE schools are done online through the school's website. A parent can fill out the application form with all the required details for registration and can upload all the required documents. Pay the application fee online and submit the form. A child's age should be above 3 years as of 31st March of that year for LKG and admission will be done through informal interaction with the child as well as the parents. The admission process may vary from school to school which you can check before applying.

As per CBSE, the kid should complete 3years as on April 2021 For LKG admission of year 2021–2022 educational year. Generally, 3.6 to 4.6 years kids are eligible for LKG.

Eligibility criteria for LKG in CBSE schools:-

According to the CBSE board the minimum age limit for a student admitted in LKG is 4 years.

And for the candidate in UKG is 5 years.

So, if you meet the above age criteria then it will not create any problem in future.

As per the rules of Central Board of Secondary Education, the candidate should have completed 5 years as on April 1st on that education year to get admission in class 1
For LKG admission the candidate should have age limit between 3.6 to 4.6 years.

The age criteria is decided by the Directorate of State Education and it is not the board which determines the age limit criteria.
