I have completed integrated MSc biotechnology, so after this am I eligible for school teacher?

Eligibility for School Teacher after MSc Biotechnology?

The candidate can very well eligible to become a teacher for classes 11 and 12. Class 11 and 12 teachers are called PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers), so Masters (MA / MSc / MCom) along with B.Ed is the ideal qualification expected. Some schools may accept even without B.Ed , it varies from school to school ,so you need not worry about that.

The eligibility for school teacher after MSc Biotechnology is,you are eligible for class 11th and 12th.

But if you have a BEd degree that would be more better.

Eligibility:

1. As you know that to become eligible for UGC NET Exam, one must have secured 55% marks in his/her postgraduation.

2. As you have pursued M.Sc. in Biotechnology, you may apply for the UGC NET Environmental Science. There is no subject related to biotechnology other than Environmental Science.

Eligibility for School Teacher after MSc Biotechnology?

MSc Biotechnology eligibility:

1. The applicant is to have a bachelor's degree in science with a specialization in any biological sciences.

2. The applicant must be a Graduates from BAMS, BHMS, BPT and BPharm. are also eligible for admission. At least 50% must have been scored in aggregate at the undergraduate level.

Yes, you can apply for teaching jobs in any school near you. If you have all the eligibilities required to become a good teacher, you certainly would be selected. However, if you want to become a teacher in government school then you would need to complete Bachelor of Education three years program or Diploma in Elementary education 2 years program. After that apply for TGT, PGT examination as per your choice.
