Hello, this is Mamta Rathi. My son Mr Aarsh Rathi appearing in class 5th whose dob is 06 Feb 2006. I want to know about registration in entrance exam of sainik and military schools. I shall be very thankful for this.

Rashtriya Military schools and Sainik schools conducts an separate Common entrance test for admission to class 6 and class 9 candidates.

The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for Rashtriya Military school and Sainik school for admission to class 6 is 11 years of age and the candidate should have passed class 5 from a recognized school.

The prospectus and application form is available at respective Rashtriya Military school by paying a sum of Rs.350/- and for Sainik school it is Rs.475/-. After filling the application form, submit it back to the school.

Sainik school and Military school are the best school for boys up to higher secondary level.
Sainik schools provide admission in 6th and 9th standard only whereas Military school allows admission in 6th standard only.
To get admission in 6th standard, students need to qualify three stage entrance test.
The three stages are
-First stage consist of written examination
-Second stage , physical or Medical interview
-Final stage is personal interview
After completing these stages, final merit list consisting of the names of the student eligible for admission is provided on official website as well as through local newspaper.

Registration for entrance examination have been started and can be done either through post or directly through school office.
The last date to apply for entrance test of Sainik school is 21st November .
The registration process for Military school is over.
The date of birth of students must be between 02 July 2005 to 01 July 2006 including both dates for Sainik School.
