Date of birth of my son is 24/10/2005 studying in DPS in kanpur in UP and going to appear in CBSE 10 th examination in the year 2023 admitted in 10 in 2022. Is he eligible to appear in CBSE board 10 th exam in 2023.

Being born on 24.10.2005, your son is definitely eligible for appearing in CBSE Class 10th 2023 board examination without any doubt (as far as the age criteria for appearing in the same examination is concerned).

Further, I would like to let you know that CBSE does not have any criteria of minimum age requirement for appearing in the CBSE Class 10th board examination centrally rather it follows the age criteria set by the concerned state education board in which the school is located and under no state board of education candidate aged more than 17 years is ineligible for appearing in Class 10th board examination as far as the minimum age requirement for appearing in the same examination is concerned.
