My D.O.B. is 4-May-2000 and I am in 9th class. Am I eligible for appearing in class 10th examination to be held for session 2014-15?

The minimum age required to appear for 10th class board examination is 15 years. If you have not attained the age of 15 years at the time of registration for examination, you can keep the medical certificate from a recognised hospital Doctor. Then, you can appear for the 10th class board examinations. Since, you are in 9th class at present you have attained the age of 14 years as per your date of birth and you will attain the age of 15 years when you are in 10th standard. So, you are eligible to appear for the 10th class board examinations.

My son was born on 24th May 2010.Now he is studying First satndard.Pls tell me whether he is elegible for 10th standard

The Minimum Age required for appearing 10th Examination is 15 years. It can veries from state to state.Different state has different Age criteria for 10th Examination .
Candidates should keep their Medical certificates such as Birth certificate from recognized govt. Institutions during the registration of their 10th Examination.

The minimum age to appear in class 10th is 14 years as of 31st December of the year of examination. There is no upper age limit as per CBSE board guidelines.
